The Westminster Public Schools (WPS) community gathered for the annual WPS Foundation Breakfast, an event that brought together business leaders, educators, and community partners in support of student success. This year’s breakfast raised more than $49,000 to fund scholarships and innovative learning initiatives.

Attendees of the event at the Alamo Draft House theater heard from Executive Director Stephanie Baer, Superintendent Dr. Jeni Gotto, and President of the Foundation Board Aracely Hobday. Each spoke about the impact of the WPS Foundation and the vital role community support plays in expanding opportunities for students. The event also featured student performances, including a number from The Incredibles by the Westy orchestra as well as selections from Moana 2 performed by Metropolitan Arts Academy’s spring musical cast. Students also showcased technology such as drones and virtual reality headsets that are enhancing learning experiences across WPS. The Westy Mariachi group performed the send-off.

The success of the breakfast was made possible through sponsors who continue to invest in Westminster Public Schools and its students.
