Illini West will begin administering the Pre-ACT and ACT tests next week. All sophomores and freshmen are scheduled to take the Pre-ACT on April 2 and 3, while juniors will sit for the full ACT on April 1. Testing will be conducted in the gymnasium as a group.
Juniors will be permitted to leave school following the completion of testing only if they have all class assignments completed. Freshmen and sophomores are expected to return to class and finish the school day. For juniors, this will be considered a school-related absence and will not affect their after- school participation.
Students are advised to stay hydrated and have a good breakfast before their testing day. It is also recommended that students ensure their Chromebooks are charged and bring their chargers with them to school.
