As Principal Appreciation Month continues, Hinsdale Community Consolidated School District 181 is recognizing the leadership of Principal Eric Chisausky. Chisausky has been with the district since the 2008-09 school year, starting as Assistant Principal at Clarendon Hills Middle School, where he played a key role in the school receiving a Blue Ribbon designation.
Since July 1, 2013, Chisausky has served as principal of Walker School. He is involved in several district committees, including the Literacy Committee, curriculum writing team, and Safety and Crisis Committee. In addition to his responsibilities at Walker School, he serves as SAT Coordinator for the West Suburban Consortium of Academic Excellence.
District officials noted that Chisausky’s work has contributed to a positive learning environment and collaboration among staff at Walker School. “His vibrant energy, enthusiasm, and strong work ethic have been undeniably instrumental in the school's achievements,” said district representatives. “He has also been a driving force in fostering a collaborative atmosphere among colleagues, consistently centered on enriching learning experiences, which truly showcases his commitment to excellence.”
The district added: “District 181 is incredibly fortunate to benefit from Principal Chisausky's extensive experience and dedication. His profound knowledge base and steadfast commitment to educational excellence are evident in every aspect of his work, making a lasting impact on the students, staff, and community of Walker School.”
