The Village of Barrington is set to host a special Earth Day event aimed at enhancing the natural beauty of Pederson Preserve.
Scheduled for April 22, 2025, the community is invited to participate in a tree and native plant installation project. The event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Pederson Preserve, located at the intersection of Main Street and Hart Road in Barrington, IL 60010.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own gloves and gardening tools to assist with the planting efforts.
This initiative reflects Barrington's commitment to environmental stewardship and provides an opportunity for residents to contribute positively to their local ecosystem.
