Community Consolidated School District 181 has announced the adoption of Diligent Community as its new board management software. The district stated that the platform aims to enhance transparency, accessibility, and engagement for the community. According to the district, Diligent Community will save time and resources while increasing public access to agenda items and other board-related information through d181.org.
The district noted that community members will have easy access to meeting agendas, minutes, and policies via a new public site. Implementation of Diligent Community is underway, with plans to go live on September 13, 2025.
"We are excited to share that Community Consolidated School District has adopted Diligent Community as our new board management software. The platform is designed to enhance transparency, accessibility, and engagement across our community. Through its comprehensive tools, Diligent Community not only saves time and resources but also increases public access via d181.org to agenda items and other board-related information," the district said in a statement.
"The community will enjoy easy access to meeting agendas, minutes, and policies through our new public site," according to the release.
"We are in the process of implementing Diligent Community and plan to go live on September 13, 2025. Thank you, and we are excited about taking this step toward improving communication and creating a more inclusive environment for everyone."
Hinsdale Community Consolidated School District 181 serves schools in DuPage and Cook counties including Clarendon Hills Middle School, Elm Elementary School, Hinsdale Middle School, Madison Elementary School, Monroe Elementary School, Oak Elementary School, Prospect Elementary School, The Lane Elementary School, and Walker School (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/).
According to data from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), there are 282 teachers in District 181 earning an average salary of $94,227 before pension contributions; women make up 90 percent of teaching staff while men account for 10 percent. The student population is composed of approximately 69.8 percent White students, with Black students at 1.1 percent, Hispanic students at 6.8 percent, and Asian students at 15.4 percent (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/).
