Mrs. Wilkinson’s first graders begin school year with Daily 5 reading routine

Mrs. Wilkinson’s first grade class has started the school year by learning new routines and making friends. The students are being introduced to a program called Daily 5, which focuses on activities such as Read to Self and Read to Someone. Mrs. Wilkinson commented, “It's going to be a great year!”

Coal City Community Unit School District 1 serves Grundy and Will counties and includes several schools: Coal City Early Childhood Center, Coal City Elementary School, Coal City High School, Coal City Intermediate School, and Coal City Middle School (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/).
