Rock 'n' Kids Boo-Riffic

Get ready for a morning of music, laughter, and movement at the Rock ’N’ Kids Boo-Riffic Dance Party! Happening Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 10:15 a.m. at the Lake Forest Recreation Center (400 Hastings), this energetic event invites children ages 1–5 and their caregivers to sing, dance, and play with rhythm instruments in a joyful, interactive atmosphere. Little ones can come dressed in their favorite costumes—or simply bring their brightest smiles and energy! This fun-filled celebration encourages creativity, coordination, and family bonding through the power of music. Burling & Whitehouse's 941 East Westminster Fundraiser

Join the Lake Forest Preservation Foundation for the Burling & Whitehouse’s 941 East Westminster Fundraiser on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the historic home of Ingrid and Brian Bryzinski, located at 941 E. Westminster, Lake Forest. This exclusive event offers a behind-the-scenes tour of the 1889–1890 home designed by Burling & Whitehouse, later renovated by David Adler, with landscapes by O.C. Simonds and Craig Bergmann. Guests will enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a special presentation by architects Stuart Cohen and Julie Hacker, renowned for their restoration work. Tickets are $150, limited to 50 guests. Proceeds benefit the Lake Forest Preservation Foundation’s 2026 project initiatives. Register via Eventbrite.
