The Lindenhurst Police and Fire Commission discussed upcoming promotions at its regular meeting Dec. 10.
Chief Tom Jones said the commission would consider offering several opportunities during the second quarter of next year, depending on the village's budget. Jones suggested beginning testing and interviewing in February.
The commission last fielded candidates for promotions in 2012.
Before adjourning, Commissioner Tom Berger submitted the group's annual report for 2015.
The meeting was adjourned after 34 minutes.
