To consider landscaping bids, park features and amusements, Lincolnshire’s Committee of the Whole convened directly after Monday's regular board meeting at Village Hall.
Three separate bids in the realm of public works were discussed. One related to a private vendor’s bid concerning replacement of the Village Hall roof; All American Exterior Solutions of Lake Zurich submitted a bid in the amount of $529,000.
For median landscaping on Rt. 22 -- as it relates to the Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program (ITEP), Stage 1 -- Nettle Creek Nursery Inc. of Morris put in a bid for $223,450.
A proposed pocket park within the Lincolnshire downtown area was also discussed.
In the judiciary and personnel arena, the committee conferred about proposed amendments to the Village Code for automatic amusement device licensing.
Matters of planning, zoning and land use; finance and administration; public safety; and parks and recreation were also brought to the table.
