The College of Lake County (CLC) will host Grammy Award-winner Dan Zanes in two performances designed for families of children with autism or other special needs on Dec. 17.
The Dan Zanes Holiday Sing-Along, featuring guests Claudia Eliaza and Pauline Jean, will create a magical, musical experience, according to CLC. Zanes is a leading name in family music and boasts a style that combines elements of fold, rock and roll, and soul music, among other styles.
The CLC shows are specifically designed to be open and welcoming for all patrons, with audience vocalization and movement built into the performance. Those attending are invited to bring sensory accommodations like earplugs and stress-reducing toys, and JLC also will be providing some sensory accommodations for attendees.
