Village of Grayslake Village Board met March 6.

Here is the agenda provided by the Board:

Public Comment – Agenda Items: The Board will accept public comment on items included on the meeting agenda

1. Approval: Minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 20, 2018

The Board will consider approval of minutes for the February 20, 2018 regular Board meeting.

2. Approval: Treasurer’s Report / Payment of Bills: March 6, 2018

The Board will consider approval of the regular treasurer’s report detailing revenues and expenses for the reporting period ending on March 6, 2018.

3. Acceptance of Bids: Capital Improvement Projects

The Board will consider accepting the bids and awarding the contracts for the following projects: 2018 Road Resurfacing program, Burton Street drainage improvements, Hunter’s Ridge drainage improvements and Alleghany Road curbing improvements.

4. Ordinance 2018-0-09: Special Use Permit – 1040 Harris Road

On the recommendation of the Committee of the Whole, the Board will consider approving Ordinance No. 2018-0-09, granting a special use permit to install roof mounted solar panels at 1040 Harris Road.

5. Ordinance 2018-0-10: Fence Variance Request – 590 Arlington Lane

On the recommendation of the Committee of the Whole, the Board will consider approving Ordinance No. 2018-0-10, granting a fence variance to allow a six foot high closed fence in a corner side yard at 590 Arlington Lane.

The Village of Grayslake is subject to the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Individuals with disabilities who plan to attend this meeting and require certain accommodations in order to allow them to observe and/or participate in this meeting, or who have questions regarding the accessibility of the meeting or the facilities, are requested to contact the Deputy Village Clerk at (847) 223-8515 promptly to allow the Village of Grayslake to make reasonable accommodations for those persons.

6. Ordinance 2018-0-11: Zoning Ordinance Amendments

On the recommendation of the Committee of the Whole, the Board will consider approving Ordinance No. 2018-0-11, amending the Zoning Ordinance related to solar panel installations.

7. Acceptance of Bids: Operating Contracts

The Board will consider accepting the operating contract bids for landscaping, curb and sidewalk, stamped concrete, pavement marking, crack sealing and HVAC maintenance.

Public Comment: The Board will accept public comment on items of general interest.
