Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report
Program Year 2017
May 1, 2017 through April 30, 2018
The Waukegan Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 3:00 PM in City Hall Council Chambers located at 100 N. Martin Luther King Junior Avenue, Waukegan, Illinois 60085. The purpose of the hearing is to present Waukegan’s Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER)for Program Year 2017. The CAPER lays out the activities that were undertaken with federal dollars over the past fiscal year. The activities include housing, public services, rehab administration and general administration.
Copies of the proposed 2017 CAPER will be available for review after the comment period concludes. These copies will be available on the City’s website, at the CDBG office on the third floor of City Hall, and at the Waukegan Public Library at 128 North County Street, Waukegan, IL 60085. You may request a copy of the CAPER by contacting the CDBG Office at 847-599-2530. The City encourages review and comments on the proposed document. The 15-day comment period will begin on July 2, 2018. Comments will be received in writing at the CDBG Office, 100 North Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Third Floor, Waukegan, IL 60085 or via email at pamela.jeffries@waukeganil.gov.
Any individual needing language translation or disability accommodations to review the 2017 CAPER or to attend the public hearing should contact Laraesa Garland or Pamela Jeffries at 847-599-2530 no less than one day prior to the meeting date.
