According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 111 students during the year. That equates to 5.4 percent of the 2,073 students enrolled.
Of the 80 in-school suspensions, all of whom were elementary or middle schoolers.
The district reported that most in-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons. The category includes 41 incidents. There were 38 incidents of violence without physical injury. For 50 incidents, students were suspended for a day or less.
Of the 31 out-of-school suspensions, 20 were given to boys and 11 were given to girls, all of whom were elementary or middle schoolers.
