State House race: Republican Weber wins voter tally in Lake Villa Township Precinct 162

Tom Weber led Democrat Trisha Zubert in votes cast in Lake Villa Township Precinct 162 for the District 64 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Weber appeared to outpace Zubert by a margin of 14.9 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Republican Barbara Wheeler, won by a margin of 25.2 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Democrat Joel Mains, who received 157 votes to Wheeler's 263.
