Residents can donate new, unwrapped toys at several locations throughout Vernon Hills until December 15. Collection sites include the Vernon Hills Police Department at 740 Lakeview Parkway, which is open around the clock; Vernon Hills Village Hall at 290 Evergreen Drive, open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and the Vernon Hills Public Works Department at 490 Greenleaf Drive, open weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

More information about the program and how to sign up to receive a toy can be found at ToysforTots.org.
