State House race: Democrat Yingling wins voter tally in Lake Villa Township Precinct 166

Sam Yingling led Republican Ken Idstein in votes cast in Lake Villa Township Precinct 166 for the District 62 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Yingling appeared to outpace Idstein by a margin of 22.9 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Democrat Sam Yingling, won by a margin of 10.6 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Republican Rod Drobinski, who received 235 votes to Yingling's 291.
