Fredric "Rick" Bryan Lesser led Democrat Bob Morgan in votes cast in Shields Township Precinct 239 for the District 58 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Lesser appeared to outpace Morgan by a margin of 30.4 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Republican Mark Neerhof, won by a margin of 48.6 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Democrat Scott Drury, who received 169 votes to Neerhof's 489.
