City of Highland Park issued the following announcement on May 14.
The City of Highland Park will hold its Memorial Day Observance on Monday, May 27, 2019, at 11:00 a.m.
The event takes place at the Highland Park High School, 433 Vine Avenue in the Auditorium. Representatives from the American Legion Post #145, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4737 and Jewish War Veterans #29 will be present.
Mayor Nancy Rotering and other special guests will speak. Vietnam U.S. Army Veteran Richard Lee will be honored.
The Highland Park High School Band will perform patriotic music.
All are welcome.
