City of Highland Park issued the following announcement on Sept. 16.
As part of Highland Park’s 150th anniversary celebration, the HP150 Architecture Committee invites the community to ‘Open Doors Highland Park’, a free, family-friendly HP150 event taking place on September 28, 2019 throughout Highland Park.
‘Open Doors Highland Park’ offers behind the scene access to more than one dozen significant Highland Park buildings.
Participants are invited to visit all or some of the sites and may enjoy hidden gems, architectural treasures, and fascinating utilitarian sites.
