DEERFIELD PARK DISTRICT: Public Feedback Session for Updating ADA Transition Plan

Park 12

Deerfield Park District issued the following announcement on Feb. 19.

The Deerfield Park District continues to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Our transition plan is a phased schedule of retrofits so that our parks and facilities are accessible to and usable by people with and without disabilities.

But we need your help! You are invited to a public feedback session on March 18, 2020, from 7-8 pm. The meeting will be held at the Jewett Park Community Center located at 836 Jewett Park Drive.

We will review the ADA requirements for existing sites and facilities, discuss some of the accessibility solutions required for Deerfield parks and facilities and then ask for your own access preferences and priorities.

Please RSVP to Tammy Ingoglia at 847-572-2614.
