Village of Libertyville Board of Fire and Police Commissioners met Feb. 19.

Commissioner BORGSTROM called to order the meeting of the Village of Libertyville Board of Fire and Police Commissioners at 5:00 PM in the ADMINISTRATIVE CONFERENCE ROOM at the Libertyville POLICE Department at 200 East Cook Avenue, Libertyville. Those present on a Roll Call were Commissioners BORGSTROM, LASKA and WEIL. Also in attendance was Police Chief Clinton Herdegen. Noting that the meeting had been properly noticed, and a quorum present, the Commission continued with business before it.
APPROVAL of MINUTES
Commissioner LASKA presented Minutes of the Boards 1-22-2020 meeting and moved to approve the minutes as presented. Seconded by Commissioner WEIL the motion PASSED on a UNANIMOUS Voice vote.
POLICE ENTRY LEVEL RECOMMENDATIONS
The Commission reviewed the BACKGROUND investigation, the MEDICAL examination and the PSYCHOLOGICAL examination of Entry-Level Candidate ALEX DUKE McMENAMY. Based the information provided in the reports, the Commission has concluded that the candidate PASSED the examinations, thus meeting the requirements of appointment to the Libertyville Police Department. Commissioner WEIL moved to authorize his appointment to the Libertyville Police Department. Seconded by Commissioner LASKA, the motion carried on a unanimous voice vote.

ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Commission, Commissioner LASKA moved to adjourn the meeting at 5:24 PM. Seconded by Commissioner WEIL, the motion carried on a UNANIMOUS voice vote.
