School

Lincolnshire Prairie View School District 103 recently issued the following announcement.

Dr. Craig Chatham

Please welcome Dr. Craig Chatham, our new Director of Technology and Assessment, to District 103. Dr. Chatham has most recently worked in Zion District 6 as the Instructional Technology Facilitator. Dr. Chatham was selected due to his strong knowledge and abilities in educational technology and his strong commitment to helping students grow. He has been working alongside our technology team to learn about our district and operations. Dr. Chatham replaces RJ Bialk who is leaving to become the Executive Director of Technology in Elmhurst Community Unit D205. We want to thank Mr. Bialk for his excellent work and service to District 103!

Of his position, Dr. Chatham said, “The opportunity to work for, collaborate with, and serve the students, staff, and community of Lincolnshire-Prairie View D103 is truly an honor. Every interaction I’ve had with a D103 staff member or family has spoken to a culture that is welcoming, supportive, and promotes learning. I’m thrilled to join the D103 family!”

Mrs. Nina Nusbaum

Please join us in welcoming our new incoming Assistant Principal of Daniel Wright Junior High School, Mrs. Nina Nusbaum! Mrs. Nusbaum has served as a seventh grade mathematics teacher at Daniel Wright for the last three years. Mrs. Nusbaum possesses a deep knowledge of educational leadership and prior experience in administration. She is passionate about learning and is dedicated to inspiring students to grow and develop as lifelong scholars.

Mrs. Nusbaum is replacing Mr. Tom Herion who has taken a position to become the principal of Deerpath Middle School in Lake Forest. Thank you, Mr. Herion, for your hard work and support of our students, families and staff in District 103!

Of her appointment, Mrs. Nusbaum said, “I am excited to join the DW administrative team. It is a privilege to work with educators of such high caliber, imbued with a deep passion for teaching, learning and leading. I trust that my integrity, honesty, transparency and passion for continuous development will enable me to cultivate sound collaborative relationships with you. Our school is a unique and special place that I love dearly. We are a resilient, honorable, diverse learning community and all agree that the education of students and their overall wellness are paramount.”
