Description

We’ll explore tips for securing your car, garage, home and staying safe in public. Then we’ll discuss strategies if confronted with an active shooter. Although rare, an active shooter can occur anywhere and is unpredictable and devastating. Learn how to prepare, respond and protect yourself based on the situation. The presenters for the evening Jeff Hemesath Crime Prevention Unit | Property & Evidence and Dan Mead, VHHS School Resource Officer. Both are members of the Vernon Hills Police Department.  The event is FREE!. Register at ComEd128.org or 847-247-4575.
