Q4 2022 Recap: 2 parolees from Lake County convicted of crimes against justice set for release

There were two offenders convicted of crimes against justice living in Lake County released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Lake County Gazette.

The data shows both of the released offenders among the parolees were men. The median age of the parolees sentenced for crimes against justice was 36. The younger parolee was a 31-year-old man sentenced in 2021, and the oldest was a 40-year-old man sentenced in 2022.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Anthony T. Robinson. He was convicted in 2022 when he was 39 years old. He is now 40.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
