Nature Curiosity

Nature Curiosity will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. from Aug. 1 to 3 at Independence Grove, located at 16400 W. Buckley Road in Libertyville. Children age 4 to 5 (accompanied by an adult) can explore the natural setting and use both natural and discovered objects to guide their curiosity and play. Registration is required and closes at midnight on Aug. 1. Price of admission is $64 for residents and $89 for non-residents. Email AskAnEducator@LCFPD.org for further information.

Restoration Workday – Greenbelt Forest Preserve

Put on your boots, grab some work gloves, and help restore the environment during Restoration Workday from 9 a.m. to noon at Greenbelt Forest Preserve, located at 1215 Green Bay Road in North Chicago. No experience is necessary and the event is free to attend. Children 10 years and older are welcome with an adult.
