City of Highwood Committee of the Whole met June 20.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

CALL TO ORDER by Mayor Pecaro at 6:04 P.M.

1. Roll Call

Present: Aldermen Slavin, Falberg, Fiore, Peterson and Hospodarsky

Absent: Alderman Levi

Also Present: City Manager Coren, City Attorney Jablecki and Administrative Assistant Litjens

2. Public Hearing

3. Review of Minutes to be Approved

3.1. City Council: June 06, 2023

3.2. Committee of the Whole: June 06, 2023

The minutes will be approved at the regular City Council meeting.

4. Appointments

5. Review of Bill Warrant List

5.1. 06/20/2023 AP Warrant List

The Warrant List will be approved at the regular City Council meeting.

6. Unfinished Business

7. New Business

7.1 Consideration of an ARC Application for Façade Color Change, Wall, Door and Window Signage and an Outdoor Seating Area for Tapas Del Lago, Located at 329 Waukegan Avenue.

This will be approved at the regular City Council meeting.

7.2 Consideration of an Ordinance Amending 4-1-7: Classification of Licenses in the Highwood City Code to Create an Additional Class C Liquor License and Eliminate a Class A Liquor License.

This will be approved at the regular City Council meeting.

7.3 A Discussion on Vacant Property at Prairie Avenue and Burtis Avenue.

7.4 A Presentation on IMRF Pensions.

7.5 Consideration of a Motion Approving the FYE 2024 Budget.

This will be approved at the regular City Council meeting.

8. Executive Session (If Necessary)

Moved by Alderman Fiore and seconded by Alderman Hospodarsky to enter Executive Session under section 2-C-1. All present voting aye, by voice vote, motion carried at 7:25 P.M.

9. Any Action Necessary Coming Out of Executive Session

Moved by Alderman Fiore and seconded by Alderman Slavin to reconvene the Committee of the Whole meeting. All present voting aye, by voice vote, motion carried at 7:36 P.M.

10. Adjournment

Moved by Alderman Fiore and seconded by Alderman Slavin to adjourn the meeting. All present voting aye, by voice vote, motion carried. Mayor Pecaro adjourned the meeting at 7:36 P.M.
