The Vernon Hills Park District is set to host its 10th annual Craft Beer Tasting event this month, featuring 19 breweries at Century Park.
According to a Vernon Hills Park District press release, the Craft Beer Tasting will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. on May 18 at Century Park, located at 1001 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills. The event is limited to individuals who are at least 21 years old.
The same press release also mentions that attendees can expect more than just beer. In addition to the microbrews created by some of the most skilled brewmasters in the area, ticket holders will have the opportunity to enjoy live music performed by Sunfallen and burgers from Spoon Burger Food Truck. Binny's Beverage Depot is sponsoring the event.
Tickets are priced at $35 until May 11, after which they will increase to $40 from May 12-18, according to another Vernon Hills Park District press release. Tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the event. A designated driver ticket (non-drinking) will cost $10 at the gate. Each ticket includes a complimentary tasting glass.
