The Waukegan Pride Parade & Festival will be held on June 1. | Waukegan Friends
The Waukegan Friends Pride Festival is set to take place in just a few weeks, promising an array of attractions including a parade, over 50 vendors and resource booths, food trucks, a beverage tent, and more.
According to a Lake County press release, the festival will commence at 2 p.m. and conclude at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 1. The parade route is scheduled to end at the festival location at Parking Lot D, Clayton and Sheridan Streets in Waukegan.
Live entertainment will be provided throughout the festival by various artists and musicians, as stated in the Lake County press release. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in games and stand a chance to win prizes.
The Lake County press release further states that an Instagram photo booth will be available for visitors to capture their favorite festival moments and share them with the world.
