Due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, East Alton District 13 has announced that Wednesday, February 19th will be an e-learning day.
The district emphasized that the safety and well-being of students and staff is its top priority.
This marks the fifth and final e-learning day permitted by the Illinois State Board of Education for this school year. Any additional weather-related closures will result in traditional snow days, which will be added to the end of the school year. Currently, the last day of school is scheduled for Thursday, May 22nd with a half-day of attendance.
Parents and students are encouraged to view the EA 13 Inclement Weather E- Learning Schedules via a provided link or access e-learning resources on the district's website.
