District 103 has announced that its summer school registration will open on Thursday, March 6, at 6:00 p.m. Prospective attendees are advised to review updated class descriptions and the summer school schedule prior to registering.

Enrichment, Intervention, and the Extended School Year (ESY) programs for grades K-7 will be held at Daniel Wright Junior High School from Monday, June 9, through Wednesday, July 2. There will be no classes on June 19.

The cost of each class is $80.00, with some courses incurring additional material fees. Transportation provided by D103 is available for an additional $155.00 per student; however, this service is only offered before period 1 and after period 4 for general education students.

Summer School enrichment classes consist of four 50-minute periods running from 8:30 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. ESY programs are designed for students with special needs whose Individual Education Plan team recommends an Extended School Year.

Registration will take place through the PowerSchool Platform starting at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, and closing at11:59 a.m.on Friday, March21.Families are encouraged to review the registration guide before selecting classes.

Students must enroll in courses corresponding to their current grade level and can choose between periods1 &2 or periods3 &4 or all four periods. Only one class may be registered per period.

Parents should note that students can leave the building only after period2 (parent/guardian pick-up only) or after period4 (parent/guardian pick-up or bus transportation). This schedule does not apply to ESY students.
