Cook Park Library has been undergoing renovations as part of the Children’s Renewal Project, with significant progress made in March.

Visitors to the library are now greeted with a refreshed view upon entry. However, officials remind patrons that the area remains an active work zone. Safety signs and stanchions have been placed to ensure visitor safety.

Several updates were completed in March:

- The Middle School Zone received a colorful, modern wallpaper upgrade. This space, designed specifically for middle schoolers, now occupies the former nonfiction shelving area.

- Hanging globe lights were installed along the north wall of windows. These lights not only add a visual element but also allow staff to change their colors.

- Essential behind-the-scenes work is nearly complete, including enclosing wiring and ductwork in the ceiling and installing new thermostats to maintain comfortable temperatures.

Library officials express appreciation for visitors' patience during this renovation period.
