Janice Giraldo Commissioner | Vernon Hills Park District
The Vernon Hills Park District has announced the resignation of Commissioner Janice Giraldo from the Board of Park Commissioners due to relocation. The district expressed gratitude for her contributions towards its mission and her dedication to the community.
Commissioner Giraldo was elected to the Board of Commissioners in April 2023 and has served for the past two years. Her last day on the Park Board will be April 30, 2025.
The Park Board will commence a search for a new commissioner to serve out the remainder of the term until 2027. Interested candidates are encouraged to contact David Doerhoefer, Board President, at ddoerhoefer@vhparkdistrict.org.
