Meet Sandra Lopez, a resilient and inspiring senior from Westminster Virtual

Academy. Originally from Honduras, Sandra arrived in the U.S. just a few years

ago and has faced numerous challenges, including housing instability and

personal struggles.

With support from WPS, Sandra found a safe and empowering learning environment

at WVA and HLSS, where she could focus on her education at her own pace. Her

hard work paid off — she graduated this past February and has already been

accepted into three colleges: Red Rocks Community College, Metropolitan State

University, and Community College of Denver. Sandra is determined to continue

breaking barriers and becoming a role model for others in similar

circumstances.
