Buffalo Grove Days festival returns with five days of music and activities

Buffalo Grove Days is scheduled to return from August 28 through September 1, 2025, at Mike Rylko Community Park, located at 951 McHenry Road. The annual event will offer a variety of activities, live music performances, food trucks, and carnival attractions over the five-day period.

The festival opens on Thursday, August 28, with carnival rides operating from 6 to 10 p.m. and food trucks available from 5 to 10 p.m. Shuttle buses will run until 11:30 p.m., and Rotary Bingo will begin at 6:30 p.m.

On Friday, August 29, the schedule includes the Meet Me On Main Street Business & Craft Fair from 5 to 10 p.m., in addition to the carnival and food truck offerings. Live music acts Hi Infidelity and 90s Pop Nation are set to perform in the evening.

Saturday's lineup features an expanded schedule with a community blood drive at Alcott Center starting at 8 a.m., the Buffalo Grove Days Parade beginning at Buffalo Grove Road (from Thompson) and Deerfield Parkway at 11:30 a.m., as well as Puzzle Palooza and Bags Tournament events that require registration. The Buddy Baseball All Star Game will take place at Rick Drazner Park in the late afternoon. Musical performances include sets by 7th Heaven, LP Vinyl Escape, and Dancing Queen.

Sunday offers another full day of activities including a dog show at Mike Rylko Community Park Nature Classroom in the morning and another community blood drive held at the Fitness Center from noon to 4 p.m. Children’s entertainment options such as face painting, a foam party, police K9 demonstration, animal petting zoo, and highlights from the Community Arts Center Show are also planned for Sunday afternoon. The Rotary Duck Race is scheduled for later in the day. Music performances include Fearless, Beyond the Blonde, and Mike & Joe.

The final day of festivities on Monday features more live music with Blackberry Jam performing midday along with Fun & Food activities that require registration.
