The Vernon Hills Village Hall will be dedicated and renamed in honor of Roger Byrne, a long-time former mayor and public servant. The dedication event is scheduled for Tuesday, September 2 at 7 p.m., coinciding with the start of the Village Board Meeting. During the meeting, Trustees will formally pass a resolution and unveil new signage recognizing Byrne's contributions to the community.
