Lake Forest School District 67 has announced the appointment of Anna Katherine Adams as a new 4th-grade teacher at Cherokee Elementary School.
According to Lake Forest School District 67, Adams is embarking on her 14th year of teaching and has recently relocated with her family from the Mississippi/Alabama Gulf Coast to Deerfield due to her husband Russell's employment with Moen. Adams brings extensive experience in teaching competitive dance for over 15 years and previously worked at Walt Disney World as a character performer for eight years.
"Hi y'all! My name is Anna Katherine Adams and this will be my 14th year of teaching! My husband, Russell, and baby girl, Liza Jane, are over the moon to head North from the Mississippi/Alabama Gulf Coast. Deerfield is where we will call home as Russell's job with Moen brought us to the area. I can't wait to be a part of the magical learning community that Lake Forest offers. My future 4th graders are already so loved and in for a year of growth, friendship, and fun! Go Cheetahs!" said Adams.
