Lake Forest School District 67 has announced the appointment of Julianne Breezee as a new second-grade teacher at Cherokee Elementary School. Breezee aims to foster an interactive and engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity and collaborates with families and staff to support each child's success.
According to Lake Forest School District 67, Breezee enjoys hiking and outdoor exploration, having lived in Colorado near the mountains for several years. She is also a yoga instructor who integrates mindfulness, movement, and creativity into her teaching approach.

Cherokee Elementary School, established in 1962 in Lake Forest, Illinois, serves kindergarten through fourth-grade students with an enrollment of approximately 325.
