Lake Forest Community High School recently hosted members of the Scout Neighbors, Rotary Club, and Chamber of Commerce Board for a construction update walk-through.

According to Lake Forest High School (LFHS), the Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce Board members toured new learning spaces such as CAD and Robotics Labs, World Language and Special Education classrooms, and Science Labs that have been operational since the start of the school year. Attendees also visited English classrooms still under construction and observed ongoing exterior work. The tours were led by representatives from District 115, Pepper Construction, and Perkins+Will, who provided information and answered questions about the school's continued development.

Pepper Construction is a company offering services including environmental technologies, high-performance building, lean construction, MEP coordination, preconstruction planning, quality management, self-perform work, and virtual design. It operates from several Illinois locations such as Chicago, Barrington, and Des Plaines. The company provides project management and construction services for various commercial, institutional, and public projects.

Lake Forest High School was established in 1935 as a public secondary school in Lake Forest, Illinois. It serves grades 9–12 with approximately 95% of its students pursuing higher education. The school supports personalized instruction within a collaborative environment emphasizing mutual respect and high expectations. It serves Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and Knollwood communities under the motto "Pursuits become habits."

Lake Forest Community High School District 115 accommodates around 1,500 students from Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and Knollwood in grades 9–12. The district offers diverse academic programs including advanced placement courses and specialized electives alongside extracurricular activities like athletics and performing arts. Feeder schools include Deer Path Middle School and Lake Bluff Middle School among others.
