The Coalers Girls Tennis Team achieved a 5-0 shutout victory against Princeton on Tuesday, September 30. Rebecca Hall won at No. 1 singles, defeating Tessa Carlson with scores of 6-1 and 6-0. In the No. 2 singles match, Kyla Kohler secured a win with scores of 6-4 and 6-2.
In doubles competition, Camryn Planeta and Bridget Feeney overcame Ava Munson and Anna Ellis in three sets: 5-7, 6-3, and 10-7. Kyla Stark and Lanie Winke won their doubles match with two straight sets of 6-3. Kamryn Hansen and Olivia Weatherbee closed out the night by winning their match in three sets: 5-7, 6-4, and 10-7.
The team is scheduled to play again on Tuesday, October 7, traveling to LaSalle-Peru for a match starting at 4:30 p.m.
