As part of Principal Appreciation Month, Hinsdale Community Consolidated School District 181 is recognizing the leadership of Dr. Levi Brown, Principal at Clarendon Hills Middle School. Dr. Brown began his tenure at District 181 in July 2016 as Assistant Principal before being promoted to Principal.
Before joining District 181, Dr. Brown spent a decade working for Fairfax County Schools, where he served as a social studies teacher, Advanced Placement Coordinator, Dean of Students, and Assistant Principal. He holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Government and Secondary Social Studies Education and a Master’s degree in Secondary Education from the University of Virginia.
Dr. Brown has been described as a "rising star teacher who immediately shined in administrative positions" and a "natural leader who comes across as extremely thoughtful." The district credits his listening skills and ability to connect with others as key strengths.

District 181 serves schools in DuPage and Cook counties, including Clarendon Hills Middle School, Elm Elementary School, Hinsdale Middle School, Madison Elementary School, Monroe Elementary School, Oak Elementary School, Prospect Elementary School, The Lane Elementary School, and Walker School.
