The Illinois Principals Association has designated Friday, October 24 as Principal Appreciation Day, encouraging communities to express gratitude to school leaders throughout the week of October 20. The initiative highlights the daily efforts of principals who help create supportive learning environments.
Superintendent Scott Warren commented on the work of school leaders in District 103: “District 103’s principals and assistant principals are truly exceptional. Their commitment to our students, staff, and families creates an atmosphere of support, growth, and achievement. We’re fortunate to have leaders who inspire excellence at every level.”
District 103 includes Daniel Wright Junior High School, Half Day School, and Laura B. Sprague School in Lake County. The current administrative team consists of Jessica Groncki (Principal), Nicole Barba (Assistant Principal), and David Herlocker (Assistant Principal) at Daniel Wright Junior High; Jill Mau (Principal) and Laura Delagrange (Assistant Principal) at Half Day School; Dr. Theresa Dunkin (Interim Principal) and Jennifer Arroyo (Assistant Principal) at Laura B. Sprague School.
According to data from the Illinois State Board of Education, Lincolnshire Prairie View School District 103 employs 151 teachers with an average salary of $76,028 before pension contributions.
