The Illinois State Board of Education released the 2025 School Report Cards for all public schools, including those in Collinsville Community Unit School District 10. The report cards, available at IllinoisReportCard.com, present data on student and district performance for the 2024-25 academic year.
The report includes summative designations that indicate how well each school is meeting the needs of its students. These designations are determined by academic growth and proficiency in English language arts (ELA), math, science, progress for English learners, chronic absenteeism rates, climate surveys, and graduation rates at the high school level.
For Collinsville CUSD 10, Webster Elementary School received an "Exemplary" designation for being among the top 10% of schools statewide in terms of growth. Eight other schools—Caseyville Elementary School, Collinsville High School, Dorris Intermediate School, Kreitner Elementary School, Maryville Elementary School, Renfro Elementary School, Summit Elementary School and Twin Echo Elementary School—were rated as "Commendable." Collinsville Middle School was given a "Targeted Support" designation due to underperformance among two student groups: Native Americans and Children with Disabilities. This status initiates a four-year improvement cycle for the school.
The district's report card notes several positive trends: average class size is 20 students; chronic absenteeism has decreased with a current attendance rate of 92%; less than 10% of students require remedial college courses; eighty-eight percent of ninth graders are on track; Career and Technical Education participants have a 94% graduation rate; ACT proficiency rates are 50% in ELA, 43% in science and 33% in math; staff retention stands at 92%; and ELA and Math growth matches state averages.
