The Board of Education of Zion-Benton Township High School District 126, Lake County,

Illinois, met in Special Session in the Superintendents Conference Room at Zion-Benton Twp.

High School, 3901 21st Street, Zion, Illinois, commencing at 6:31 p.m.

President White presided.

Secretary Leech recorded the minutes.

Roll Call

Members present: President White, Vice President Nordstrom, Secretary Leech,

Member Karner, and Member Roberts.

Members excused: Member Richards and Member Powell.

Pledge of Allegiance

Communications from Staff, Guests, and District Residents

There were no communications.

Closed Session

A motion was made by Secretary Leech, seconded by Vice President Nordstrom to go into

closed session at 6:33 p.m. for the consideration of appointment, employment, compensation or

performance of specific employees. (5ILCS 120/2(c)(1)). Motion was approved by a roll call

vote of members present voting 5-0.

Reconvene in Open Session

A motion was made by Member Karner, seconded by Vice President Nordstrom to return to open

session at 7:21 p.m. Motion was approved by a voice vote of members present voting 5-0.

Adjournment

A motion was made by Member Karner, seconded by Vice President Nordstrom to adjourn the

meeting at 7:25 p.m. Motion was approved by a voice vote of members voting 5-0.
