Village of Deerfield issued the following announcement on June 25.
All non-emergency Village offices will be closed on on Wednesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.
Regular office hours will resume the following Thursday.
Wednesday garbage collection will be delayed by one day while Tuesday collection will remain unaffected.

The annual Family Days parade will be taking place on July 4 at noon. The route is as follows:
Deerspring Pool to Waukegan Road; Waukegan Road to Hazel Avenue; ending at Jewett Park.
