Governor race: Republican Rauner wins voter tally in Vernon Township Precinct 260

Bruce Rauner led Democrat JB Pritzker in votes cast in Vernon Township Precinct 260 for the gubernatorial race, according to the latest vote count.

Rauner appeared to outpace Pritzker by a margin of 12.8 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Republican Bruce Rauner, won by a margin of 56.6 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Democrat Pat Quinn, who received 91 votes to Rauner's 331.
