Joyce Mason led Republican Sheri Jesiel in votes cast in Warren Township Precinct 291 for the District 61 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Mason appeared to outpace Jesiel by a margin of 13.5 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Republican Sheri Jesiel, won by a margin of 11.5 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Democrat Loren Karner, who received 142 votes to Jesiel's 179.
