Terry Link led Republican Soojae Lee in votes cast in Vernon Township Precinct 249 for the District 30 state Senate race, according to the latest vote count.

Link appeared to outpace Lee by a margin of 27.3 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Democrat Terry Link, won by a margin of 14.4 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Republican Don Wilson, who received 258 votes to Link's 345.
