Q1 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 60002?

There were two offenders released on parole during the first quarter living near Illinois zip code 60002, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Lake County Gazette.

The data shows that two men were released in the East Moline zip code. Of these parolees, there were none reported to be veterans, and the median age of the parolees was 34 years old. The youngest parolee was a 26-year-old male sentenced for a financial crime or fraud in 2018, and the oldest was a 42-year-old male sentenced for a crime against a person in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Joseph Turos. Turos was sentenced to 5 years in prison for a crime against a person in 2017 when he was 40 years old. He is now 42.
