Cattails & Kiddies

Kids aged five to 10 can attend Cattails & Kiddies at Mellody Farm Nature Preserve, located at 350 N. Waukegan Road in Lake Forest, on April 29. This event is an annual fundraiser for Cattails & Cocktails and is being hosted by the Associate Board of Lake Forest Open Lands. Young participants will have a wonderful springtime activity-filled morning. Participants will trek around the preserve, construct spring centerpieces, and craft one-of-a-kind works of art.


China, the United States, and the Quest for Global Leadership - Lecture with William C. Kirby | Lake Forest College

"China, the United States, and the Quest for Global Leadership"

A lecture titled "China, the United States, and the Quest for Global Leadership" will be presented by William Kirby at Lake Forest College's Tarble Room in Brown Hall on May 2 from 4 to 5 p.m. The complex connection between China and the United States in the 21st century will be the subject of a number of questions that will be examined in the lecture. William Kirby is the T. M. Chang Professor of China Studies at Harvard University and the Spangler Family Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School. He is a distinguished service professor at the university.
