The data shows 90 men and six women were released in Lake County. The median age of the parolees was 34. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2020, and the oldest was a 84-year-old man sentenced for homicide in 2005.
The offender incarcerated the longest was Tony Anderson. He was convicted of homicide in 1991 when he was 25 years old. He is now 57.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
